The teacher asks some students in the class to dress in a special way, as in a fashion show, for example during an activity about William Shakespeare and the socio-historical background of the golden age (the Elizabethan age). It would be an excellent idea that some students to wear specific medieval costumes, if possible evoking characters from Shakespeare's plays. The others will describe, in as much detail as possible, an outfit of their choice from the "models" chosen by their classmates and guess which Shakespearean character it illustrates. At the end you can organize a vote or poll to choose the most beautiful costume. In extension, the teacher may ask students to watch a film about Shakespeare's life and work, such as "Shakespeare in love" (1998, with Joseph Fiennes and Gwyneth Paltrow, Oscar for Best Picture), or "Romeo and Juliet" (1968, directed by Franco Zeffirelli with Leonard Whiting and Olivia Hussey, a film that respects the original play in detail). The next class there will be a discussion about the movie they watched.
